How do we go about booking?Once I have received your initial enquiry, I will ring you and discuss your requirements for the evening. We will discuss your menu ideas, the plans for your evening and finally a price. If all is agreeable I will provisionally take your booking and upon receipt of a 25% non-refundable deposit I will email confirmation of the booking with all the details discussed.
What happens next?Prior to your evening I will arrange to visit the destination of your planned event to ensure that it is possible to fulfil your requirements, get an idea of how your evening will flow, the vicinity of your dining area in relation to your kitchen and the best way to serve your meal in the most efficient way. I will then confirm with you the time I will attend your venue on the day of your occasion. Any amendments to the menu/numbers can be made up to 7 days prior to your occasion.
Why are there no prices on the website?Each dinner party is different and menus can vary considerably, even down to the time of year in which your occasion takes place. There is however a minimum charge of £250 for an event.
What other services do you offer?Many people do not have the required amount of cutlery/crockery for a large dinner party. I can supply enough for up to 20 people. If you wish to have a restaurant effect then I can supply an experienced waiting team who will serve you at your table. The waiting team do incur an additional charge and this will be discussed at the time of booking.
What happens if one of our guests is a vegetarian?I will cater accordingly, prior to your event I will ask whether any of your guests have any special dietary requirements and between us we will design a menu which will leave all your guests happy.
I like the idea of having a chef for the evening but cant decide on a menu?Within the website there are pages that have menu ideas, this is for people who cannot decide what menu to choose. You can select two courses from my menu ideas and substitute the 3rd course with a favourite dish in which I will do my own variation of.
