How do we go about booking?
Once I have initially received your enquiry I will email you in response to get any further details that I may need. We will discuss the menus, the plans for your evening and finally discuss a price. If this is agreeable I will provisionally take your booking and upon receipt of a 25% non refundable deposit I will then confirm your booking in writing with all the details we have discussed.
What happens next?
Prior to your planned evening I will arrange to visit the venue of your event to ensure that everything is suitable and can get an idea of how the evening will flow, where you dining room is in relation to your kitchen and the best way to serve your meal in the most efficient way. I will then reconfirm with you on that visit what time I will arrive at your venue, the plan for the evening and the menu. Any amendments can be made and I will always be contactable prior to your event in case you have any further questions or would like to make any further changes. Then I will arrive with my team if you have booked waiting staff at the time and date we have arranged
Why are there no prices on your website?
Every event is different and each person may have different requirements. Rather than put prices on the website I would prefer to agree a rate with my customers.
What other services do you offer?
Many people may not have the amount of crockery and cutlery to host the kind of event they are looking for, so I can provide the full dinner service and cutlery for your event. You may like the idea of having your meal served to you at your dining table and I can provide a small team of waiting staff for the evening. The waiting staff do come at an agreed fee which will be arranged with you at the time of booking.
What happens if we have one vegetarian amongst our guests?
Prior to your event if you could advise whether there will be any vegetarians, I can then cater accordingly. Even to the extent of speaking to the person or people involved to find a dish that I can supply alongside the main courses I will be serving the rest of your guests.
Can you cater for special dietary requirements?
Just like the vegetarian option, if you have such dietary requirements a menu can be designed especially for your event.
I like the idea of a personal chef but cannot find a course that I really would like?
The menus are guides and a range of dishes I can provide. If you are after a certain dish then let me know and I can provide my own variation on the course that you like. It may be your favourite meal, or your favourite dessert, again at the time of planning your menu we can discuss anything you may require that differs from what you have seen.
